Why is it important to change the Signia QuickGuard wax guard?

A blocked wax seal is the most common cause of hearing aid malfunction. Replacing the wax protector is preventive:

  • loss of sound

  • sound distortion

  • complete silencing of the device

A regularly replaced wax protector will keep the sound clear and the hearing aid working reliably.

Exchange guide

  1. Take one wax stick from the package.

  2. Press the stick empty head the old wax protector in the hearing aid and pull it out.

  3. Turn the stick and insert new wax guard to a hearing aid.

  4. Carefully pull out the stick and make sure that the new wax guard is firmly in place.

How often should the wax guard be replaced?

  • The recommended replacement interval is Every 4-8 weeks

  • Replace immediately if the hearing aid sound becomes muffled, distorted or disappears completely

  • Also replace if the wax guard looks dirty or clogged
