Hearing protectors and earplugs protect your hearing effectively in every situation
Hearing protectors and earplugs are not just for use in the workplace - they are needed in many everyday and leisure situations. Whether it's constant noise, a single event or better sleep, choosing the right hearing protectors makes for an effective and comfortable wearing experience.
Hearing protectors are suitable for use by musicians, in noisy work environments and when riding motorcycles, for example. The soft and flexible hearing protectors are custom-made to fit the wearer perfectly. You can choose the colour of your choice from a wide range of options.
In the table below you can see the time threshold after which repeated exposure to noise is likely to cause hearing damage. The second table lists everyday noise sources in indicative decibels.

Festivals
At festivals and concerts, sound pressure levels range from around 90-100 decibels. At these decibels, there is a risk of hearing damage after just 15 minutes of listening. In general, festivals and concerts last for several hours, so the risk of hearing damage is very high. The sheer mass of the human mass alone raises the decibel level to dangerously high levels. We therefore recommend that you take hearing protection to all concerts.
Nightclubs
Even in nightclubs, decibel levels often rise to hearing-damaging levels; according to measurements by the German Hearing Association (spring 2008), the average noise level in restaurants is around 96 decibels. According to the table above, even an hour at 94 decibels is damaging to hearing, and if the sound level reaches 100 decibels, 15 minutes is enough to damage hearing. Good acoustics will reduce the sound pressure level in a restaurant, but this is something we cannot control. However, we can protect our hearing comfortably by choosing personalised hearing protection.
Music hobby
In music hobbies, sound levels vary widely. Often, the sound levels rise above harmful levels for a short period of time and, if music is practised daily, it can put a significant strain on hearing in the long term. Different instruments also produce different sounds. For example, hearing protection or earplugs are more important for a drummer than for a violinist, as percussion noise is more harmful than steady noise. We recommend using personalised hearing protection for all your musical activities so that you can enjoy music for the rest of your life.
Motorcycling
In motorcycling, the noise from the bike itself can exceed 85db, but the airflow into the helmet can also raise decibels to hearing-damaging levels. In motorcycling, a perfect fit of hearing protectors under the helmet is important, as ill-fitting earplugs can easily put pressure on the ear. Personalised hearing protectors are a great solution to help you enjoy the summer asphalt roads without worry.
Industry and working environments
In noisy working environments such as construction sites, factories and warehouses, hearing protection is a legal and necessary safety measure. Hearing protectors for industrial use effectively attenuate high levels of noise and protect against hearing loss. Our range of individually designed hearing protectors provide long-lasting protection without pressure or discomfort. The perfect fit makes hearing protectors comfortable to wear all day long.
Earplugs for sleeping
Earplugs are one of our most popular products. Sensitive ears, shift workers and people living in the hustle and bustle of the city, for example, benefit enormously from high-quality earplugs that reduce disturbing noise while being comfortable and fitting. Earplugs are selected for their ergonomic design, freedom from pressure and comfortable material that does not irritate the ear canals.
You will find very high quality, comfortable and effective earplugs in our range. We customise our earplugs, so ordering requires a visit to the store, but the end result is the perfect earplugs for your sleep.
Airplanes and travel
Flying puts pressure on your ears and causes constant background noise, making travelling uncomfortable. Earplugs designed for air travel balance the pressure and reduce engine noise, making the flight more peaceful. They are also ideal for children and those who want to rest or sleep during the flight.
Air ear plugs differ from conventional plugs in that they have a special pressure regulator or filter that prevents sudden pressure changes during take-off and landing.
Bathing and humid conditions
For swimmers and sensitive ears, we recommend waterproof earplugs to prevent water from entering the ear canal. Swimming earplugs are useful for people with recurrent ear infections or tubal ear infections. They fit snugly without causing pressure. Most swimming earplugs are made of soft silicone and are shaped so that they do not fall out during movement. The same swim earplugs can also be used in showers and wet working environments. The unique design ensures a perfect fit, even during movement.
