Signia Click Sleeve 3.0 closed tip

The Signia Click Sleeve 3.0 closed tip is a high-quality sleeve tip for Signia EarWear 3.0 system hearing aids. The completely closed design without air vents provides maximum acoustic sealing and directs the full amplification power of the hearing aid into the ear – an ideal choice for severe hearing loss or for users who experience whistling with more open tips. The robust sleeve-like construction keeps the receiver in place all day long. Replacement is easy to do at home without tools. The pack contains 6 tips.

Signia Click Sleeve 3.0 closed dome – perfect seal for maximum amplification

The Signia Click Sleeve 3.0 closed tip is a high-quality sleeve tip designed for Signia hearing aids using the EarWear 3.0 attachment system. The closed sleeve design provides optimal acoustic sealing in the ear canal: there are no air vents, allowing the full amplification power of the hearing aid to be effectively directed into the ear. It is the perfect choice for users who require maximum power from their hearing aid amplification.

Why choose a closed-end sleeve tip?

The closed sleeve tip completely seals the ear canal without any ventilation holes. This means that sound cannot escape from the ear canal, making it the most effective option of all sleeve and dome models instead of an open or ventilated structure. At the same time, the sleeve-like structure holds the receiver firmly in place all day long.

Benefits:

  • Maximum acoustic seal – all sound stays in the ear
  • The best possible amplification, especially at low frequencies
  • Minimises sound leakage and effectively reduces squealing.
  • Robust, stable socket fit – the receiver stays in place all day
  • Also suitable for small ear canals – soft silicone construction adapts to the shape of the ear canal
  • A dark colour makes the tip less visible in the ear canal

A closed-end ferrule is suitable for whom?

This model is particularly suitable for:

  • For severe to profound hearing loss requiring maximum amplification power
  • For users with an open or vented tipping mechanism that causes squeaking
  • For users whose hearing aid does not provide sufficient amplification with a more open tip
  • For active users who need an especially secure fit
  • Signia Silk IX hearing aids (the sleeve model is the only option for these)

Easy to change yourself

Changing the tip is quick and easy to do at home:

  1. Carefully pull the old chuck out of the chuck holder
  2. Place the new sleeve tip on top of the receiver.
  3. Push until it clicks firmly into place
  4. Check that the tip is securely attached before use

How often does the tip need to be changed?

The recommended replacement interval is Every 1–3 months.

The replacement interval depends on usage, the amount of earwax, and the level of hygiene. Regular replacement prevents earwax buildup in the receiver, extends the lifespan of the hearing aid, and ensures the best possible sound quality.

Frequently asked questions

Does this fit my hearing aid? Suitable for all Signia EarWear 3.0 hearing aids (IX and AX series, and Motion X) as well as Rexton Bi-Core and Reach models. Not compatible with older 2.0 models.

What is the difference between a closed-end and a valved pipette tip? A closed model completely seals off the ear canal without air vents, providing maximum amplification and the best sound retention. A vented model includes side openings that allow some air into the ear, reducing the feeling of fullness – a good choice when a balance between amplification and natural sound is needed.

What is the difference between a sleeve tip and a standard dome tip? A dome tip is a small, cup-shaped tip that sits on top of the receiver. A sleeve tip is sleeve-like and covers the receiver completely, offering a better fit and being the only suitable option for hearing aids of the Silk IX type in particular.

Does a blocked tip feel congested? A sealed tip seals the ear canal more effectively than more open models, so there may initially be a slight feeling of stuffiness in the ear. This is normal and usually temporary. If the stuffiness is persistently bothersome, a vented model might be a more suitable option.

How do I choose the right size? The size (XS, S, M, or L) is chosen based on the ear canal size. Usually, the same size as before is the best choice. Unsure? Call us and we'll help!

Can I change the tap myself? Yes – the replacement is very easy and requires no tools or professional expertise.
