Hearing aid dryer

Especially when sweating, the headset collects a lot of fluid, as it is constantly in contact with your hair and scalp. This moisture can cause the hearing aid to stutter and other malfunctions. If you notice that your hearing aid behaves this way, especially in summer or after exercise, it is because of moisture build-up in the hearing aid. This can be easily removed by using a hearing aid dryer every day. The hearing aid itself also causes condensation which, over time, can cause the hearing aid to malfunction.

The Dry-sun uv2.1 dryer dries your hearing aids with circulating 50°C air. Drying at 50°C significantly extends the life of the equipment. During cleaning, UV-C light removes 99.9% of all bacteria without the use of chemicals. This clinicality prevents the risk of ear infections, protecting your hearing aids and your health. The dryer works for all types of hearing aids. The dryer is recommended for overnight storage of your hearing aids. This will keep your hearing aids safe and you will always have clean and dry hearing aids in the morning.

The dryer automatically switches off when the drying programme is finished. So you can safely leave your hearing aid in the dryer overnight. The drying programme lasts 4 hours and the dryer will automatically switch off when the programme is finished.

Instructions for use:

Using for the first time

1. Connect the USB cable to the 5 V power supply and the USB-C connector to the socket on the back of the drying station.

2. Connect the power supply to the mains

3. Open the lid of your dry-sun uv 2.1

4. Place the cleaned hearing aid with the battery compartment cover open (if possible) in the drying station

5. Press the touch button briefly and the drying programme (drying + UV-C) will start automatically (LED will light up continuously).

6. Close the lid

• Ultraviolet light (253.7 nm) eliminates 99.9% of pathogens and bacteria within 4 minutes (LED flashes)
• After 4 minutes, the UV-C light automatically turns off, the drying process continues (LED on continuously)
•  During the last 4 minutes of the 4-hour drying programme, a second UV-C hygiene cleaning is run (LED flashes)
• After 4 hours of drying, the appliance automatically switches to stand-by mode (LED goes out)
