Better sound quality: A clean earpiece ensures a clearer and brighter sound.
A healthier ear: Dirty booths collect bacteria, which increases the risk of ear infections.
Longer lifetime: Regular cleaning prevents the build-up of dirt and wax, which can cause blockages or equipment failures.
Preparation
Ensure good lighting and a clean working area. Take out the right size cleaning brush and ear piece.
Irrotus
Carefully remove the earpiece from the hearing aid using the removable intermediate tube.
Cleaning
Insert the end of the cleaning brush into the air duct and move it back and forth to remove wax, dirt and other build-up.
Check
Make sure the duct is clean and repeat if necessary until all the dirt has been removed.
Fixing
Reinsert the earpiece into the hearing aid according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Functional test
Turn on the hearing aid to make sure the sound is coming through clearly and distinctly.
Sometimes it is also a good idea to use cleaning tablets, such as Cedis cleaning tablets (20 tablets) - they disinfect and clean the ear pieces thoroughly, especially after build-up.
