Flow Med Dry-Cap UV 3.1 Instructions for use

Dry&Clean Mode (2 hours)

1. Put the device in place:
   • Place the Dry-Cap UV 3.1® on top of the charger, so that the hearing aids to be charged remain under the hood.
2. Start the program:
   • Press the left button on the appliance to start Dry&Clean mode. The appliance will automatically start the drying and UV-C hygiene function.
3. The drying process:
   • A powerful fan dries hearing aids for 2 hours, driven by a microprocessor. This phase lasts for the entire duration of the programme.
   • UV-C light with a wavelength of 253.7 nm eliminates 99.9% from bacteria and viruses within the first 2 minutes. The UV-C light is automatically switched off after this time and curing continues as normal.
   • During the last two minutes, the UV-C hygiene function is reactivated to ensure complete sterility of the hearing aids.
4. Automatic switch-off:
   • After two hours, the appliance automatically goes into standby mode and the drying and sanitising process is complete.
   • The hearing aids will continue to charge if necessary and can remain under the charging device in the hood of the Dry-Cap UV 3.1® until charging is complete.
5. Stop and remove:
   • Lift the Dry-Cap UV 3.1® up and off the charger.
   • Remove dried and hygienically cleaned hearing aids from the charger.

Clean Mode (2 minutes)

1. Put the device in place:
   • Place the Dry-Cap UV 3.1® on top of the charger, so that the hearing aids to be charged remain under the hood.
2. Start the program:
   • Press the button on the right side of the device to start Clean mode. The device will automatically start the UV-C hygiene function.
3. The hygiene process:
   • UV-C light at a wavelength of 253.7 nm eliminates 99.9% from bacteria and viruses in just 2 minutes.
4. Automatic switch-off:
   • After two minutes, the machine automatically goes into standby mode and the hygiene process is complete.
5. Stop and remove:
   • Lift up the Dry-Cap UV 3.1® and place it next to the charger.
   • Remove hygienically cleaned hearing aids from the charger.
